Year Three Final Project

Title :“Sonder” 

(n.)is the idea that there are millions of stories happening all at once, around each other, oblivious and contained from one another.the realisation that each passerby has a life as vivid and complex as your own.

The theme of my final project is to show people’s “beauty of self-confidence”. I ask all participants to try not to wear makeup to bring out their natural beauty. The scene was shot against a black background, with everyone dressed in white. Participants were asked to hold up items brought from their hometown. In the photo, half of everyone’s left face will disappear, which symbolizes that everyone has an unknown side, and even behind the happy expression, there may be unknown emotions. Everyone is unique, and even though we look alike, our hearts and personalities are unique. This is also a message I want to convey to the audience, that people should not only be defined by the so-called beauty on the surface.
